Τα παραπάνω έργα είναι εμπνευσμένα από το αστικό τοπίο και τη σχέση του με το φυσικό φως και τα χρώματα, συνέχεια της περσυνής σειράς Sky Experiments.
The above works are inspired by the urban landscape and its relationship with natural light and colors, a continuation of last year's Sky Experiments series.
Quarantine and post quarantine series, 2020
Εδώ βλέπουμε κάποια από τα τελευταία έργα όπου από την εξωτερική παρατήρηση και εν προκειμένω του ουρανού στα αμέσως προηγούμενα, αυτή μετατείθεται εσωτερικά κατά τη διάρκεια της καραντίνας (εξ ου και τα πορτραίτα) με μία τάση ώσμωσης και σύντηξης. Εικόνες από τα Sky Εxperiments και δικά μου φωτογραφικά πορτραίτα ενώνονται με έργα από μαρκαδόρους και σε επόμενο στάδιο, μετά και τις ολικές απαγορεύσεις λόγω lockdown η ένωση γίνεται με τη φύση, σχέση που λόγω αυτής της υγειονομικής και κοινωνικής κρίσης σαφώς επαναπροσδιορίζεται, είτε αυτή αφορά τη διαχείρηση του σώματος, είτε τη σχέση με τους άλλους ανθρώπους ή τη σχέση με το περιβάλλον.
Here we see some of the latest works where from the external observation and in this case of the sky to the immediately preceding ones, it is shifted internally during the quarantine (hence the portraits) with a tendency of osmosis and fusion. Images from Sky Experiments and my own photographic portraits are combined with marker works and in a later stage, after the total prohibitions due to lockdown, the union is made with nature, a relationship that due to this health and social crisis is clearly redefined, whether it concerns the body management, either the relationship with other people or the relationship with the environment.

Starting point of my work, stood all the invisible things that set the visible world, the thoughts, the ideas, the “laws” that define the behaviors of people, the sentiments and the intentions that mobilize them. Their actions, the energy that conditions each movement and act.
My paintings are signs and symbols of phenomena and dynamic relations that are presented so much in the social life, what in the natural science, imprinting of perpetual movements that some times carried out effortlessly with their orbits expanding chaotically in the space and some other times fight back geometrical forms - symbolic regularities, while other times are prompted by them in an absolutely straightforward trend.
Symbolic elements that are presented as institutions of movements are luminous sources, the humid element and the fire. The humid element and the fire that exists within us as water and combustions respectively, as much as in the man history with the sea that played fundamental role in the growth of economy and trade as in the locomotion of individuals and populations and the fire that is presented as the motive force of machine, as much as as the climax of wars, revolts and revolutions.
From painting and the pictures that I created molding the coloring matters via the bodily movement, I continued importing in the digital work the body as form and movement but removing its matter in combination with pictures from the sea and the fire, which I counterfeited until I created pure flows of energy.
The battle of the body to be exempted from its corruptibility and to be harmonized with the brought consciousness, the battle of the person to be released from the ego of the modern times and to be linked with the world through the elements of nature and to be coordinated with their movement.
The pyramid as a modern means of projection of holographic images that are used in the demonstration of industrial products and high technology appliances. The battle of the human being and the artist to be released from this frame that wants her/him as simply a luxurious product of high value.
The pyramid as a container of energy according to the ancient Greek etymology of the term. And when the kinetic energy is high, the internal structural elements of a body are moving irregularly according to the natural science.
Αφετηρία της δουλειάς μου στάθηκαν όλα τα αόρατα που ορίζουν τον ορατό κόσμο, οι σκέψεις, οι ιδέες, οι “νόμοι” που ορίζουν τις συμπεριφορές των ανθρώπων, τα συναισθήματα και οι προθέσεις που τους κινητοποιούν. Οι ενέργειές τους, η ενέργεια που διέπει κάθε κίνηση και πράξη.
Τα ζωγραφικά μου έργα είναι σημεία και σύμβολα φαινομένων και δυναμικών σχέσεων που παρουσιάζονται τόσο στην κοινωνική ζωή, όσο και στη φυσική επιστήμη, αποτύπωση αέναων κινήσεων που άλλοτε διεξάγονται αβίαστα με τις τροχιές τους να εξαπλώνονται χαοτικά στο χώρο και άλλοτε αντιπαλεύονται γεωμετρικά σχήματα -συμβολικές κανονικότητες-, ενώ άλλες φορές ωθούνται από αυτές σε μια απόλυτα ορθοκανονική φορά.
Συμβολικά στοιχεία που εμφανίζονται ως φορείς των κινήσεων είναι άλλοτε φωτεινές πηγές, το υγρό στοιχείο και η φωτιά. Το υγρό στοιχείο και η φωτιά που υπάρχουν μέσα μας ως νερό και καύσεις αντίστοιχα, όσο και στην ιστορία των ανθρώπων με τη θάλασσα που έπαιξε πρωταρχικό ρόλο στην ανάπτυξη της οικονομίας και του εμπορίου όσο και στη μετακίνηση ατόμων και πληθυσμών και τη φωτιά που εμφανίζεται ως η κινητήρια δύναμη της μηχανής, όσο και σαν το αποκορύφωμα πολέμων, εξεγέρσεων και επαναστάσεων.
Από τη ζωγραφική και τις εικόνες που δημιούργησα πλάθοντας τις χρωματικές ύλες μέσω της σωματικής κίνησης, συνέχισα εισάγοντας στο ψηφιακό έργο το σώμα ως μορφή και κίνηση αλλά αφαιρώντας την ύλη του σε συνδυασμό με εικόνες από τη θάλασσα και τη φωτιά, τις οποίες παραποίησα ώσπου να δημιουργήσω καθαρές ροές ενέργειας.
Η μάχη του σώματος να απαλλαγεί από τη φθαρτότητα του και να εναρμονιστεί με τη φερόμενη συνείδηση, η μάχη του ατόμου να απελευθερωθεί από το εγώ της σύγχρονης εποχής και να ενωθεί με τον κόσμο μέσα από τα στοιχεία της φύσης και να συντονιστεί με την κίνησή τους.
Η πυραμίδα ως σύγχρονο μέσο προβολής ολογραφικών εικόνων που χρησιμοποιούνται στην επίδειξη βιομηχανικών προϊόντων και συσκευών υψηλής τεχνολογίας. Η μάχη του ανθρώπου και του καλλιτέχνη να απελευθερωθεί από αυτό το πλαίσιο που τον θέλει να είναι απλώς ένα πολυτελές προϊόν υψηλής αξίας.
Η πυραμίδα ως δοχείο ενέργειας σύμφωνα με την αρχαιοελληνική ετοιμολογία του όρου. Και όταν η κινητική ενέργεια είναι υψηλή, τα εσωτερικά δομικά στοιχεία ενός σώματος κινούνται ατάκτως σύμφωνα με την φυσική επιστήμη.
BLOOMSDAY 2015:
Εδώ είναι μέρος από τις εικόνες της συμμετοχής μου στην Bloomsday 2015 (16/6,ημέρα αφιερωμένη στον Ιρλανδό συγγραφέα James Joyce). Οι εικόνες αυτές μαζί με άλλων καλλιτεχνών εντάχθηκαν σε εικαστική εγκατάσταση, σύλληψης της κυρίας Βουβούλας Σκούρα.
Here are part of the images by which i participated in Bloomsday 2015 (16/6,a day dedicated to the Irish writer James Joyce). These images along with other artists' joined in a visual installation by a concept of Mrs Vouvoula Skoura.
Πρώτη ύλη για τη δημιουργία των εικόνων ήταν φωτογραφικό υλικό από την Ιρλανδία της κυρίας Σκούρα, ενώ πηγή έμπνευσης το 18ο κεφάλαιο του "Οδυσσέα".

Raw material for creating the images were photographs from Ireland by Mrs Skoura, while inspiration was the 18th chapter of "Ulysses".
